I’ve travelled to over 50 countries and lived in 6 of them. I know the time, care and detail it takes to craft trips that feel personal, effortless and unforgettable.

  • Ethnic Croatian, first generation Australian, newly American citizen living in Hawaii. Travel is in my blood.

    I was 10 months old when I took my first international flight and it’s been non-stop ever since. Born and raised in Australia, I took advantage of the proximity to SE Asia whenever I could. Visiting family in Croatia became a gateway to backpacking through Europe and calling England, Greece and Croatia home for a while.

    Bucket list trips to the Pyramids of Giza, Machu Picchu and the World Cup in Rio soon followed. Then came a move to Canada and later the US, where I explored 4 provinces and over 40 states before meeting my husband in sunny San Diego.

    We chartered yachts in the Sea of Cortez, British Virgin Islands and the Red Sea. We moved our ohana to Hawaii to take advantage of island hopping, easy access to Tahiti and Japan, regular trips home to Australia to see family, and the occasional F1 race.

    I established a career in learning & organizational development but I always knew that making travel accessible to everyone is what I am truly passionate about.

    Travel is so much more than the destination. It’s the food you eat, people you meet and the person you become along the way. And so Rare Journeys was born.

    Now I travel to feel a place, not just see it. Staying a little longer, finding local spots, and always hunting down great food. I mix luxury with real, off-the-beaten-path experiences. Michelin-starred restaurants and hole-in-the-wall taco spots. Overwater bungalows and glamping in the desert. I plan just enough to snag the must-do reservations but leave space to wander into the unexpected.

    During the ‘Connect’ stage, we will clearly outline your applicable planning fee. You will receive an invoice to be paid prior to itinerary preparation, along with a copy of our terms and conditions.

    Best for: known hotel or cruise bookings, leisure or business

    Already know exactly which hotel or cruise you want, and your dates? We'll handle the booking, advocate for you directly with the property, and work to secure perks like upgrades or credits you might not get booking it yourself. Because you've done the research, this service is always free.

    Best for: hotel decisions you haven't narrowed down yet.

    Know you want to get away, but not sure where to stay? We'll research accommodation options for your destination and dates, comparing location, reviews, amenities, and overall fit to your travel style, then bring you three curated, vetted options to choose from.

    Fee is credited toward Elevated, Signature or Bespoke Journeys if booked within 30 days

  • Elevated Journey - starting at $250

    Best for: a single-destination trip, typically 4 nights or more

    Flights, hotels, tours, and transfers: fully researched and booked for one destination. All the major logistics of your trip handled for you, with room left to explore and fill in the rest yourself once you land. You get time back, as well as access to exclusive perks and support.

  • Signature Journey - starting at $500

    Best for: multi-stop itineraries or longer/more complex trips

    Full concierge-level planning from first idea to touchdown. The same foundational planning as our Elevated Journey — plus a detailed day-by-day framework built around your trip. Daily activity suggestions, restaurant reservations, and the logistics between stops all handled and refined until every detail is right.

    When a trip is too complex or too important to leave anything to chance, this is white-glove planning with nothing overlooked.
